About
THIS IMPACT IS WORTH 4 HOURS OF COMMUNITY SERVICE.
Did you know that when you get vaccinated, you’re protecting yourself and your community? Community immunity protects everyone. But it’s especially important because some people can’t get vaccinated for certain diseases — such as people with some serious allergies and those with weakened or failing immune systems (like people who have cancer, HIV/AIDS, type 1 diabetes, or other health conditions). Students are required to upload their completed Covid-19 Vaccination Cards or confirmations to givepulse.com. Within the impact’s reflection, students are required to detail their vaccination experience.

My first vaccine I had a bad reaction because I did not rest, but I still did end up getting fully vaccinated because I want to help start to better my community. I was scared for the second one but I didn't have any reaction to the second shot.
