About
Digital Volunteers can now take on important assignments to expand access to the Smithsonian's massive collections, and can participate in a variety of research programs. Some roles require special knowledge or skill, but many do not. Either students will be able to be immersed in the Smithsonian Transcription Center Experience or the Smithsonian Wikipedia Volunteer Program (WikiProject). All impacts must include 2-3 sentence reflections of your experience. Students must upload translated documents, confirmation emails, or have hours verified by the Smithsonian project supervisor. See website for details: https://www.si.edu/volunteer/DigitalVolunteers
